Located on the south side of Waterhen Lake, the Miywâsin Ôta Resort offers long-term campsites, modern timber-frame waterfront cabins, and some of the best fishing and nature that the north has to offer.
Activities
The resort has all the modern day conveniences to attract tourists from all over the world. We have some of the best fishing spots in the area, and the Resort is close to both a public boat launch and hiking trails.
Events
We are working on redeveloping the brand of the Resort to include a more culturally rich experience that highlights the history of the Waterhen Lake First Nation. In the meantime, host your own family event or wedding on the Resort at any time — remember to book a year in advance for the best experience.
